We took a road trip to Greenville to check out a newer restaurant, new to us anyway, and stopped in for breakfast at the Garage Diner. Thought that the trip was worth it as the food was excellent. Very reasonably priced, large portions, great taste. Service was also excellent. Had three orders of the regular eggs, toast with meat , and a french toast covered with apple caramel topping. Everyone said that the food was very good. We will make this a breakfast stop next time in Greenville. Highly recommended.
We absolutely love this place and will often take a 45 minute drive to Greenville to eat here. The food is very good and presented nicely on the plate, hubby and I often share a breakfast and it comes to us all ready separate, any other place usually gives you a plate to do it yourself. We love our waitress, I believe her name is Dawn but forgive me if I'm wrong my memory with names is not what it use to be. She's real, meaning attentive, quick, a great sense of humor and just out right nice. As you might expect from a restaurant called the Garage the decor is themed with old vehicle parts that are displayed nicely and create great conversation pieces. The Garage has plenty of parking close to the doors both in front and back, it has been nice and clean every time we have came and wait time is next to nothing. My only quirk is people may not like where the restrooms are located but this is in a very old building and personally I think it's part of the historical charm. I would definitely recommend if your in Greenville and hungry stop here, you won't be disappointed.
Everything was wonderful especially the service. Food was good but it was a lot. The skillet could have been shared with a second person. The only reason I gave 4 stars for atmosphere is because the hostess who sat me, didn't get name but gray/white hair, wasn't the most pleasant when she sat me or took my drink order. My server was super pleasant and attentive but not overly. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality. Just remember, it starts with the first impression, but it isn't always the most lasting.
We went here about a week ago for my husband's birthday. We both got "The Nest" breakfast which was two eggs over crispy hash browns and at least four thick pieces of bacon and toast. It was all very good. And, the waitress even brought it out with a candle in it for my husband. The staff was all very friendly and making sure we liked everything. We will be back!!!
Nice casual diner with a unique car garage theme. We were greeted and served immediately upon arrival. Very friendly, fast service. Nice family friendly atmosphere. Great food at affordable prices. We had brunch. Highly recommend!!
Excellent brunch spot in downtown Greenville. Had heard good things about it and decided to give it a try. My stomach couldn’t thank me enough after I was done eating here. I highly recommend the stuffed French toast with strawberries and blueberries on top. The place is kind of small so it can become packed quickly which is unfortunate but hopefully they continue to do well! All of the servers were very kind to my daughter and service was excellent.
First time visiting today. Food was A service was great. And more affordable than fast food but soooo much better! I had the Olive burger which did not skimp on olives at all and my husband had the a stuffed French toast. It was heavenly.
Visiting a friend I said let’s go to breakfast. We went to the garage great service gave us everything we needed to make our breakfast awesome had the Boss with all the fixings with a little hot sauce. Was the best. My buddy wanted the Nest but only with hash browns and eggs it was no problem. Peggy was very nice being the owner always checking to see if we needed anything but our waitress was on top of it Thanks for everything. We will be back and will refer you to all our friends.
